Facilitation of Learned Resistance to Audiogenic Seizures in Balb/cCrgl Mice by d-LSD-25

Abstract

ALTHOUGH conditioning techniques applied to electrophysiological behaviour are presently being used in behaviour therapy for human epilepsy1,2, complete cure is still a hope of the future. Extensive reports indicate that minute amounts of d-lysergic acid diethyl amide (d-LSD-25) could be used to assist current biofeedback training and other therapies used to effect change in the EEG and seizure susceptibility of epileptics3 and we note many studies of the facilitation effect of small doses of d-LSD-25 on learning and memory4–13.
