Canadian Tropical Research in the West Indies

A Corrigendum to this article was published on 07 December 1973

Abstract

Situated on the west coast of Barbados, the Bellairs Research Institute of McGill University is the only Canadian research and teaching laboratory in the tropics. It accepts, therefore, a special obligation to support Canadian research in that region, although it also has an interest in attracting scientists and students from around the world and maintains an open-door policy to all researchers with academic interests in the tropical environments.
