Abstract
T-MYCOPLASMAS have been found associated with low birth weight1 and have been isolated from the foetal membranes in cases with repeated spontaneous abortions2–4. It has been suggested, therefore, that T-mycoplasmas might be important for human reproductive failure. Recently, these findings have been supported by Caspi et al.5 who reported a case with amnionitis due to T-mycoplasmas.
