Abstract
WE have presented some tentative palaeomagnetic results from a Jurassic sedimentary sequence in southwestern USA1. The results suggested the existence of a normal and reversed polarity sequence in rocks whose Stability had been tested by thermal demagnetization. We have subsequently carried out a sedimentological study of these rocks, the results of which have changed our original conclusions.
