Abstract
Hall and Hinteregger1 have discussed the enhancement of the extreme ultraviolet (EUV) intensities of spectral lines during the near-maximum stage of a class 3 flare. Here I suggest a relationship between the enhancement of a given line and the abundance of the element from which it is radiating.
