Methionine-activating Enzyme and Catechol-O-methyl Transferase Activity in Normal and Leukaemic White Blood Cells

Abstract

IT has been found recently in these laboratories that the leucocytes of patients with chronic myelocytic leukaemia have significant elevations of the important methyl donor, S-adenosylmethionine (SAMe) (ref. 1).
