Abstract
HASHIMOTO'S disease exhibits features not demonstrable in the autoimmune thyroiditis of guinea-pigs1, rabbits, dogs2 and rats3. Diffuse lymphoid infiltration of the thyroid gland and humoral antibodies against epithelial antigens are not found in the experimental lesion4,5.
