Effect of the Aromatic Ring Current on Nuclear Magnetic Resonance Splitting owing to Molecular Dissymmetry

Abstract

THE effect of molecular dissymmetry on the proton magnetic resonance multiplication has been the subject of a number of recent publications1–3, as has been the findings that the ring current of an aromatic nucleus can be used as an intramolecular probe to obtain additional structural information4–7.
