Abstract
THERE have been reports of the growth of virulent strains of canine distemper virus in primary tissue cultures derived from chick embryos1, dogs2, ferrets3, rabbits4, marmoset and human beings5, and in continuous cell lines derived from dogs5 and human beings4.
