Abstract

INFORMATION about age-conditioned changes of the quantity of ferritin and total iron in human livers11,12 has led to the conclusion that a strong quantitative correlation exists between ferritin and siderin. Several experimental investigations1–8,14,16–19 support this conception. So far, however, there has been no special proof for the human liver.
