Abstract
EARLIER work1 has indicated that œstrogenic hormones increased the dilatability of the ovine vagina. In those experiments, the increase in dilatability was smaller at a dose-level of 25 µg than at 100 µg stilbœstrol diproprionate. It was decided, therefore, to test this method as a bioassay of œstrogenic hormones in sheep.
