Abstract
IN this laboratory a recent examination of the distribution of electrolytes in rats following the repeated administration of both sodium and potassium salicylate has shown that a marked decrease in the excretion of urinary magnesium occurs. Evidence of a less well-defined increase in the level of plasma magnesium was also found1.
