Degree of Polymerization of Hyaluronic Acid isolated from Human Aortic Tissue

Abstract

SEVERAL reports have been presented on the degree of polymerization of hyaluronic acid isolated from umbilical cords, ovarian cysts and follicular fluid, synovial fluid and vitreous bodies1–5. The hyaluronic acid isolated from the tissues mentioned shows varying degree of polymerization.
