Effect of Phentolamine on Body Fat

Abstract

SEVERAL recent publications have described an increase in the level of non-esterified fatty acids in the plasma of dogs or human beings after administration of certain adrenergic blocking agents. This effect has been observed in dogs injected with dibenamine1 and dibenzyline2 and in human beings treated with phentolamine3.
