Antileukæmic Activity of Glycyrrhetinic Acid

Abstract

RECENTLY some pharmacologically interesting activities of glycyrrhetinic acid corresponding to those observed with the adrenal cortical hormones have been shown; for example, a DOCA-like effect on sodium and potassium metabolism in normal people1 and an anti-inflammatory activity in different animal tests2.
