Rivanol in the Preparation of Plasminogen (Profibrinolysin)

Abstract

THE most commonly used technique for preparing plasminogen is that worked out by Kline1 using fraction III as a starting material. Plasminogen seems to be a rather resistant protein, for extreme pH's are used in the above-mentioned method. It would be interesting to compare the profibrinolysin prepared by the Kline technique with a product obtained by a completely different method.
