Abstract
THE problem of sites of synthesis of γ-globulins and of their relative contribution to the total synthesis of these proteins in the normal animal nas received little attention compared with that devoted to similar studies on the synthesis of antibody globulins. This problem becomes specially interesting if one considers the controversial views which have been put forward on the origin and nature of γ-globulins1.
