Adsorption and Desorption of Moisture in Fired Ceramic Materials

Abstract

RECENT communications1,2 on moisture expansion in fired ceramic materials raise a number of points on which we would like to comment. This phenomenon has been studied in these laboratories for many years, and we summarize below some of the conclusions to which our experimental data have led us.
