Abstract
RECENTLY it was reported that 1,6-di-(2-chloro-ethylamino)-1,6-dideoxy-D-mannitol dihydrochloride1 shows significant tumour inhibitory effect2. This compound (‘Degranol’, ‘Mannomustine’) has been employed in the treatment of malignant hæmatological diseases3.
