Abstract
LIGATION of the paracardial lymphatic glands and of the main paracardial lymphatic trunks results in myocardial damage and pathological changes of the electrocardiogram1. It is now well known that myocardial damage due to coronary occlusion is accompanied by increase of serum transaminase activity2,3. Starting from these facts we investigated the changes in serum transaminase activity following lymphatic obstruction.
