Effects of Nuclear Irradiation upon the Decomposition of Lead Styphnate Monohydrate


THE thermal decomposition of lead styphnate monohydrate has been re-investigated prior to a study of the effects of gamma-ray and reactor irradiation upon the decomposition. The two previous studies1,2 of this decomposition gave quite divergent results.
