Intracellular Incorporation of lron-59 into the Root Cells of Pisum

Abstract

KESSLER recently reported1 that in the leaves of several fruit trees there is an intimate connexion between the level of soluble iron and that of deoxyribonucleic acid. During the past two years we have been assembling data which are of immediate relevance in this connexion.
