Relationship between the Concentration of Anionic Surface-active Agents and the Electrophoretic Mobility and Viability of Aerobacter aerogenes

Abstract

As part of a detailed study of the electrical properties of Aerobacter aerogenes, it was considered that useful information on the action of phenol could be obtained by following changes of the electrophoretic mobility of the organism after treatment with this reagent.
