Photochlorination of Chloroform

Abstract

WE have shown recently that the chain-breaking steps in the gas phase photochlorination of C2Cl4 and of C2HCl5 1 are : (The numbers of the reactions have been chosen so as to have a uniform representation of all reactions : vide infra (ii) ; the products of these reaction steps are not known with certainty.)
