Abstract
IN an investigation of the enzymatic methylation of norepinephrine, certain of the isosteres of this neurohormone, designed as antagonists of this system, have been synthesized. This communication deals with D,L-3,4-dihydroxy-(α-fluoromethyl)benzylalcohol, fluoroarterenol, its synthesis and biological properties.
