Abstract
VARIATIONS of catecholamine concentration in tissues from normal male Wistar rats were observed in the course of experiments covering a twelve-month period ; further estimations were afterwards carried out to confirm these variations. Adrenaline and nor-adrenaline were estimated fluorimetrically in heart, kidneys, liver, diaphragm, leg muscles, brain and spleen using a modification1 of the method of Weil-Malherbe and Bone2. The results comprise between 24 and 74 individual estimations on each tissue extending over periods of up to 25 months.
