Abstract
THE automatic fraction cutter described below is of extremely simple design and inexpensive to make, and yet works as efficiently as any commercial model. In contrast to those which have been described previously1,2, where a twisted string provided motive power, this cutter uses a descending weight, which is not only more dependable but also can be readily adjusted.
