Phytotoxicity of Histamine, Arsenic Acid, and Dichlorophenoxyacetic Acid, and Methods of Testing

Abstract

THE recent paper by Allen and Skoog1 on the phytotoxicity of imidazoline derivatives prompts this report on tests which have been made with the related β-imidazolyl-4-ethylamine (histamine). Some comments are added concerning the suitability of methods for measuring toxicity.
