Abstract
THESE three comprehensive volumes dealing with biological and medical applications of isotopes appear within a few months of each other, and mark a milestone in the subject. The rate of development in this field has been so rapid that the opportunity has scarcely arisen to take stock of progress. With their appearance a panoramic view of the literature is provided, with the help of which it becomes possible to assess what has been achieved and to speculate on future developments.
