Abstract
AT the invitation of the Academy of Sciences of the U.S.S.R., transmitted through the Ambassador of the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics to the Court of St. James, a party of scientific men and scholars left England for the U.S.S.R. on June 14 to participate in the celebration of the two hundred and twentieth anniversary of the founding of the Academy of Sciences of the U.S.S.R.
