Abstract
Copley Medal THE Copley Medal is awarded to Sir Geoffrey Ingram Taylor, Yarrow research professor of the Royal Society, in recognition of his contributions to knowledge of aerodynamics, of hydrodynamics and of the structure of metals, which have had a profound influence on the advance of physical science and of its practical applications.
