Abstract
THE National Tuberculosis Service in Great Britain was established in 1912. This is an integral part of public health, and every measure calculated to promote the health and well-being of the community is a contribution towards it. It is a great machine of organization requiring constant overhauling, alterations and improvement. Thirty years have gone to the making of it, and these have not been unbroken years of peace.
