Abstract
THE use of X- and γ-radiation as a means of control of insects attacking stored products has never been fully investigated. We have recently made some experiments on the action of γ-rays on the weevil Calandra granaria, which, although of only a preliminary nature, are of interest inasmuch as they show that the control of these pests by radiation is possible, under laboratory conditions at least.
