Abstract
CLUSIUS1 discovered the anomaly of the specific heat of solid methane at 20·4°K.; Eucken, Heuse and others showed further that there was a case of the so-called λ-point. It appeared desirable to study the influence of the pressure of transformation at the λ-point.
