The Kandy Flora


THIS is the first of four local Floras proposed for the island of Ceylon. It was actually ready in 1928, but financial stringency dictated its being withheld until 1938. The area comprised is “all the country within easy walking distance of Kandy” at an average elevation of 1500 ft.
