Abstract
WE have received a letter from Prof. W. Szy-manowski, of the Institute for Physiological Research at Moscow, in which he makes certain comments on our article on the above subject which recently appeared in NATURE1. We should like to be allowed to summarize these and to reply to them as briefly as possible.
