Abstract
A SIX weeks' cruise in the northern Red Sea was undertaken by the University of Egypt and the Fisheries Research Department with the R.E.R.S. Mabahith last winter, as a preliminary to a much more extended exploration planned for the present winter, but this has been postponed owing to the political and financial situations.
