Abstract
WE are glad that the subject of the 24-hour system of time reckoning has again been raised in the House of Commons. In a written reply on March 5 to a question asked by Sir Arnold Wilson, the Post master-General stated: “I understand that the British Broadcasting Corporation intend at an early date to adopt the 24-hour system of expressing time for general use and on an experimental basis. This will afford an opportunity for testing the attitude of public opinion, and I propose therefore to await the result of the experiment before coming to a decision.”
