Abstract
IN a recent contribution1 Dr. C. M. Yonge, summarising his physiological work on corals published by the Trustees of the British Museum, took the opportunity to express his disagreement with Prof. Gardiner on the question of the significance of the symbiosis between corals and zooxanthellæ.
