Abstract
MR. THOMAS CROSBEE CANTRILL, who died on April 3 at the age of sixty-three years, was one of the pupils who studied under Prof. Charles Lapworth at Birmingham, where he graduated as B.Sc. At the age of twenty-eight he joined the Geological Survey of Great Britain, and served continuously on the field staff for thirty-one years, being appointed a district geologist in 1914.
