Abstract
PRIZES AND GRANTS AWARDED IN 1926. MATHEMATICS.—The Bordin Prize has been awarded to Serge Bernstein for his “Lecons sur les propriétés extrémales et la meilleure approximation des fonctions analytiques d'une variable réelle” the Poncelet Prize to Paul Montel for his mathematical work as a whole; the Francoeur Prize to Gaston Julia for his works on the theory of functions.
