Abstract

THE Academy of Natural Sciences of Philadelphia, at a special meeting held on November 24, presented the gold medal of the Hayden Memorial Geological Award to Prof. H. F. Osborn, in recognition of his brilliant pakeontological studies. The presentation address was delivered by the president, the Hon. S. G. Dixon.
