Abstract
WE have to deplore the death, in his eighty-first year, of Wilfrid Hudleston Hudlestpn, one of the most distinguished of British geologists, whose combined knowledge of the main branches of the science, palæontological, stratigraphical, petrological and chemical, was unsurpassed.
