Abstract
III. TRONDHJEM, August 14. SINCE writing my last notes, the eclipse has come and gone, and we are homeward bound, rather depressed but satisfied that the Volages and ourselves had done our duty, and that it was Dame Nature alone who was to blame. Although on the 8th the weather in the forenoon was very fine and promising, towards the latter part of the day a change set in, and dark clouds came up.
