The Cedar Forest of Cyprus


    IN 1879 Sir Joseph Hooker communicated to the Linnean Societyx the unexpected discovery of a form of the cedar of Lebanon (Cedrus libani var. brevifolia, Hook, f.) by Sir Samuel Baker in Cyprus.
