Abstract
IN the Jamaica Weather Report, No. 35, for November last year, I was unable to explain how it was that the Krakatoa airwave had affected our barometer so strongly: the explanation is that Jamaica is very near the antipodes of Krakatoa (NATURE, vol. xxix. p. 181).
