Abstract
CAMBRIDGE.—A little more than one half of the total cost of the new hall of Newnham College has now been received or paid, and the amalgamation of Newnham Hall with the Lecture Association may be described as almost completed. To pay for the buildings and furnish them about 5,000l. more will be needed. The laboratory and gymnasium are excellent.
