Abstract
Memorie della Società degli Spettroscopisti Italiani, January.—Note from Prof. Draper on photographing the spectra of Venus and α Lyræ; a 28-inch reflector and a 12-inch refractor are the instruments used, and an exposure of from ten to twenty minutes. In the photograph of the spectrum of α Lyræ bands or broad lines appear in the ultra-violet region totally different to anything in the solar spectrum.
