Abstract
I SHOULD like to add a few words to my description of the instrument called the Plagiograph* (the g to be pronounced soft, like j, as in Genesis, Plagiarist, Oxygen) in NATURE, vol. xii. p. 168, for the purpose of explaining the order of ideas in which it took its rise, and also a very beautiful extension of another recent kinematical invention to which it naturally leads the way, and which, thus generalised, I propose to term the Quadruplane.
