This article contains the following errors:
‘North America–high income’ on page 2, the first sentence should read:
In this WHO global region, an estimated Canadian NTSCI incidence rate of 67 NTSCI per million population per year was reported by the Rick Hansen Institute in 2010, with this being calculated by population modelling and extrapolation techniques.
In Table 2, on page 7, against Europe, Exner referenced as 54 but should be 24. On page 8, North America: Canada (Reference 37) the Incidence per million population per year should appear as 67 (discharge rate, estimate based on 2010 population of 34 111 316; n=2286; males, n=N/R and females, n=N/R). Also, against North Africa/Middle East, Ones referenced as 34 but should be 35, and against Canada, Guilcher referenced as 37 but should be 38.
In the References on page 13, the author list and year are incorrect in reference 65 and should appear as:
DeVivo MJ, Biering-Sørensen F, New P, Chen Y. Standardization of data analysis and reporting of results from the International Spinal Cord Injury Core Data Set. Spinal Cord 2011; 49: 596–599.
The publisher apologizes for these errors and any inconvenience they may have caused.
